Requesting Cell-lines

List of Available NCI PPTP Lines

The cell lines used for the NCI PPTP in vitro testing panel that are not available from commercial repositories are available via this repository. As for other cell lines in this repository, up to 5 cell lines can be obtained by completing the MTA, between 5 and 15 lines with a short but compelling justification sent with the MTA, and obtaining greater than 15 cell lines requires a brief application reviewed by the COG Translational Research Committee.

Of the 23 PPTP cell lines used for in vitro testing, 8 are available from commercial repositories. Those 8 lines are listed in table B below.


How to Request a Cell Line:

(1) Select the cell line(s) by clicking each check box next to the cell line name.
(2) Fill out the institutional or commercial/industry information at the bottom of the page.
(3) Attach a fully signed MTA (including Attachment A)
(4) Attach any additional documents required for your request (i.e. a justification for any request over 5 cell lines total)
(5) Click Submit.

All cell lines were established in 20% O2 unless otherwise noted. Cell lines ending in "h" designates cell line was established in hypoxic conditions (5% O2 tension).

Please visit the COGcell.org website frequently, as cell line data is continually being updated and new cell lines are added.
